Since 2011, IoT week is organized on an annual basis by the IoT forum. The last edition attracted about 850 participants specialized in the IoT domain. This 5-day conference aims to inspire companies across the world to collaborate towards a connected and sustainable future. Key topics that will be discussed are smart cities, end-user engagement, ethics, and data protection.
3. IoT Tech Expo
19-20 June | Amsterdam, Netherlands | IoT Tech Expo
This conference explores the latest innovations within the Internet of Things and looks at the impact this has on several industries including manufacturing, transport, supply chain, insurance, logistics, government, energy, and automotive. This year, about 10 000 attendees are expected, including CTO’s, Head of Innovation and Technology, IT Directors and many more.
4. Internet of Things Convention
19 June | Mechelen, Belgium | Internet of Things Convention
From this year onwards, the Internet of Things Convention Europe will host the 3iF Industry 4.0 Conference. The convention zooms in on how IoT applications will change our daily lives and what trends we should keep an eye on. All of this, based on four different tracks being smart cities, smart mobility, smart living, and smart industries.
5. IDC European IoT Executive Summit
7-8 October | Málaga, Spain | IDC European IoT Executive Summit
The location of this summit, the Gran Miramar Hotel, is definitely an eyecatcher. And so is the theme: From explorers to heroes – Deploying IoT at scale. Offering insights into the differences between organizations in the early stages of their IoT maturity and those managing to deploy IoT at scale across Europe is the goal. There are workshops, panels, case studies, and debates to determine how European organizations are delivering successful IoT implementations.

7. Internet of Supply Chain

8. IoT Solutions World Congress
29-31 October | Barcelona, Spain | IoT Solutions World Congress
With over 16 250 visitors from 120 different countries, this congress is the largest IoT event in the world. Since its’ first edition back in 2015, the event has grown to become the global reference for industrial IoT. Noteworthy to mention is that you can join a panel discussion with inspirational women leaders in industrial IoT representing established corporations and start-ups.
